I work at one of the media companies out in Dubai Production City and my Elantra has been acting up the last few mornings, this weird slow start where the engine kind of groans before finally catching, and it’s making me anxious every single time I turn the key now because I genuinely don’t know if today’s the day it just won’t start at all. I’ve never really had to deal with a battery issue before since this is actually my first car I’ve owned long enough to hit this stage, so I’m a little lost on next steps. A coworker mentioned there’s Hyundai battery fitting at affordable rates in Dubai Production City which sounds convenient since I’m literally already out here five days a week for work anyway, so I wouldn’t need to plan some separate trip somewhere else just to get it sorted. Does anyone know if the slow crank thing is definitely the battery or could it be something else entirely, because I don’t want to assume and then find out it was a different issue the whole time. Also is it normal for this to just start happening out of nowhere, my car isn’t even that old, only about three years, so I kind of assumed batteries lasted longer than that but maybe I’m wrong about typical lifespan. I’d rather get this handled sooner than later honestly, the anxiety of wondering if my car will start each morning is not something I want to keep dealing with, so if anyone’s had a similar experience working out this way and found somewhere reliable nearby, I’d really appreciate the recommendation before this gets worse.
